Montana’s Next Generation Conference will be held January 26 and 27, 2018 in Shelby, Montana. The conference will feature one day of business planning resources for the farm or ranch, and one day of production and financial management workshops.
Friday, January 26, will feature Elaine Froese and Amanda Radke. Elaine is a farm family coach and succession planner who offers farm families straight talk about how to have courageous conversations on issues that seem impossible to resolve when running a family business operation. Amanda Radke, BEEF editor and family farmer from South Dakota, will bring a great keynote evening address talking about some very tangible things they have done on their operation to allow the next generation to succeed financially and how succession has worked for them.
Elaine is providing a free copy of her e-book Building Your Farm Legacy for all those who register early by January 12. Don’t miss this great opportunity to move your family business forward!
Saturday, January 27, will provide producers with 36 different workshop options covering crops and livestock production, financial management, record keeping, leasing, succession planning, and much more. Saturday’s workshops will provide pertinent information for both the beginning and experienced producer, and counts as FSA Borrower Training as well.
